Jones International University Online Degree Programs
Jones International University was one of the first universities online, launching in 1995. It now has students in 81 different countries around the world. There are over 100 faculty at Jones International University, from many of the world's leading universities, all of them very enthusiastic about providing an online university education.
JIU recognizes some credits from community college programs.
Accreditation
Jones University is one of the less well-known online universities, but they were "the first fully online university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission," an accrediting body that is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

- Undergraduate Degree Programs, offering Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication.

Tuition
Tuition varies among programs offered at JIU, of course. The base tuition for each of your three-credit MBA courses (as of 2005) is $1575 plus assorted administration fees that may add up to close to $1,000, depending on your needs.
The Masters of Education is similar, starting at $1350.
The BBA is $1035 for a three-credit course, and a certificate may cost you about $6,600 (all figures $US).
Jones University is an accredited institution with an international faculty that we have no reservations about recommending. We think they might do well with a name change that would improve the school's image and recognition, but nevertheless…
