Pace University’s Online Degree Programs
Pace University, located in New York City, is a comprehensive university made up of two colleges (the Pforzheimer Honors College and the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences), five schools (including the Lubin School of Business, the Lienhard School of Nursing, the School of Education, the School of Computer Science and Information Systems, and the School of Law) and the World Trade Institute. Pace University was founded in 1906 by Homer S. Pace and Charles A. Pace.
Accreditation
Pace University is accredited by the (CHEA recognized) Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools .The Lubin School of Business is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is accredited by the Computer Science Accreditation Commission (CSAC) of the Computing Sciences Accreditation Board (CSAB).

The eMBA at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business
Pace University offers their own distinct online business degree called the eMBA from the prestigious Lubin School of Business. This Executive MBA online is ideal for those managers who cannot attend classes. There are also residencies available. This program was begun in 2000.
Applicants are required to have a Bachelor’s degree and five years experience in management or professional position. You will also undergo a structured interview with two members of Pace’s faculty.
Pace University Online Non-Degree Programs
Pace University also offers a variety of certificates and courses in business, law and nursing.
Admission Requirements
You must also have familiarity with the internet and the use of web applications, and you must have technological capabilities, including at least a 56K modem, to use streaming video and audio, as well as familiarity with the use of forums and chat rooms. The ability to learn independently and the ability to commit a significant amount of time to degree course work. The school accepts about 20 to 25 students per year.
Exams for online programs are proctored wither on campus or in a sanctioned off campus setting.
Interaction (online and face to face) between students and faculty is required. You will usually be required to meet with your professor at least twice during an 11 top 13 week semester. All courses are asynchronous, meaning that you do them on your own time. Online degree and course programs are usually limited to 25 students or less.
